WoW.... Misunderstandings is a bitch, have the worst days of my 30 years of restoration as I colour some oak which need to be natural...biggest reversal of my life tomorrow.
Nick Grindley called me Abraham a while back because of my patience . It will be tested tomorrow. Please God , I need your help.

Weekend spoilt by an idiot van driver. hit my car from behind, leave me with pain in my shoulder and neck but fear of loosing my car to write-off as it's 15 years old...
Got lots of carving to do and worried that with neck and shoulder pain..NOT FUNNY!!

Challenging day today...a Knot patch gave me the biggest challenge in years.
4 hrs just to make tan imaginary patch... Glue up at last and hoping that when I carve it, it will be a result.

Pressure is on with every piece I restore.
I specialise to please and to do my best but when client keep telling me that I've out done myself, makes me feel good but drives me to do better that my previous best...God Help Me!

Working in someone's home is always my most nervous moments...Client said I was the most tidy and professional person to carried out work in their house and to topped it all off my client thinks I worked miracles...naah just restore them!

Client said I out done myself again...took me 4hrs longer but no glue lines and the client said it's perfect patina. Thank you sir! Thank you too sir.

I'm not gone, trust me, clients are loving me. wasn't too well so cut down on some of the work. All good a cant believe that clients didn't eve go to other restorers. they WAIT FOR ME...THANKS! THANKS!

Cancellation of my work/tour trip to Canada and car gearbox packed up on me.

Oh what a week +...17 pieces finish, one piece that I wasn't please with deemed excellent by the client. Happy, happy, HAPPY!!

Buzzing as client just burst out crying as the restoration to the piece in his words were 10 times better than expected. And as it was restored twice by someone else before it comes to me...RESULT!

Love it when my clients went away smiling after calling me genius.
Especially when they go away and either whatsapp, call, email or text me to say how please they are about the work I've done like my last two clients did yesterday and today.

After 36 years + wood works/cabinet making, 27 year plus Antiques restoration I still get nervous. 2 months of reconstruction, over 30 scalpel/surgical blades of very delicate carving, colour, aged and patina.
Client came to pick up the piece and I was shaking like a leaf as the look it up and down, stared at it intensely and in the same motion stretched out his hand and said, bleeeeeeep I told them you are genius. This thing is 100% better than expected.
My head started to grow as my heart rate come down with beads of sweat running off my forehead! Should I still be this nervous after so many years of restoring 1000s pieces??

I must need say i was pushed and tested by some very intricate carving on a very special piece and i can now say Thank GOD it's finish and we are happy. When my clients are happy, i'm happy!
...Had a very satisfying day of carving, very delicate/intricate carving mainly scalpel point precision and felt great about the result.
Great day yesterday as a Client came and collect 5 pieces of tribal Arts and on every piece he was saying excellent, even on one piece that I think was only 90% done! and this client is one of my hardest to please!!
Looking to move Premises on or before the 07/09/2013! will keep you informed!

Got to perform major surgery on these babies...Gonna love the challenge...
